Day 24 - Hit the wall but did not cheat yet. I had a dream that I was having a picnic in the grocery store. It has been so long since I walked down the middle aisles - must have been missing them. :) Chips, beer, pasta, the works! The 3 lbs I lost is back - hoping that is just from my lazy weekend.
30 days Done last week, but I kept at it through most of the weekend. Goals were: Control my food intake and then gain a better understanding of what foods do to me when I add back in some stuff at the end of the initial 30 days; Walk away from this month ready to put together a food plan that serves me well; Recognize that I need my rest just as much as I need to pick up heavy stuff. If I got leaner in the mean time that was just a bonus.
I had my measurements done on Saturday and I did not loose any significant weight, inches or body fat. But, I am no longer taking that one remaining Rx drug and I got my first Pull Up on Saturday!! That felt so good!! Well, 2 to be exact. I would reach around and pat my own self on the back but I am too sore from Sat and Helen on Sunday. And speaking of Helen - (all 35# KB, all jumping pull ups) July 14 - 18:32 Aug 28 - 15:20 Oct 4 - 14:00 Oh yeah!
Now that I am back in Grad School cram mode I have failed miserably in the Rest department, but the better food seems to be helping me cope better... :)
I am so ready for this!!! When is our start date?
ReplyDeleteThere is also a great thread about this on www.crossfit.com in the message boards in the nutrition section.
